She was born in Pennsylvania was raised and later earned her bachelor's degree in politics at John Hopkins University. Jackson started her career as a reporter for CBS affiliates WBOC, WFSB and WBOC in Maryland Delaware Connecticut. Her major assignments included covering the election of senator Ted Cruz, and conducting exclusive interviews with the most prominent GOP candidates. Jackson was named chief White House Correspondent by NBC in 2017. Jackson has two daughters. She is married to Douglas Hitchner.

Julie Banderas, an American journalist, anchors news on Fox News Channel. The anchor is currently in charge of American's News Headquarters' and Fox Report Weekend. The anchor has also served in different channels such as WLVI-TV, WHSV-TV WFSB-TV WBRE-TV and WNYW. The Fox News Channel's general assignment team in the year 2005. The following year, she was appointed as an anchor for Fox Report Weekend'. Through her entire career Julie Banderas has reported on various important topics like Hurricane Dennis the disappearance of the US Student Natalee Holloway, and Terri Schiavo's legal case. She received the Outstanding Single Newscast Emmy Award (2004) for her reporting of the Republican National Convention. Outspoken and frank, the journalist garnered media attention across the globe when she pointed her out US president Donald Trump over his derogatory remarks about a TV host.
