Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist and currently competes with the UFC flyweight division. She is the older sister of fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko, a Muay Thai Kickboxer began her fight sports career at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was victorious in this event by unanimously defeating Suzane Miller. Antonina Shevchenko won an additional medal in the year 2007 and a bronze medal in 2008, a gold in 2011, and won in the position of IFMA Amateur World MuayThai Champion in 2016. Antonia began her professional career at the age of 2003. She won the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships 2012 and The Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships 2016, and the WMC World Championships and Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina's final fight was with Isa Tiedblad Keskikangas, who was fighting at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won by a unanimous vote. Antonina Shychenko's pro MMA debut took place in 2002 at the KFK Championship in Kyrgystan where she was matched against Anara Bayanova. She won with a TKO at the end of round 2. She then won her two fights following, both at WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. This gave her the record of 3-0 in MMA. Shevchenko was absent from MMA to focus on kickboxing. She came back with Anissa Haddaoui during Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko won against Anissa in an unanimous decision. She went on to beat Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. She left the club and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko battled Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina displayed her power of striking by tying Nievera by knees. In the aftermath of this victory, Antonina was able to sign a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was victorious by unanimous decision, but she was defeated in her subsequent fight with Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina bounced back from losing to knock out Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the bonus fight of the night for this fight. Shevchenko lost to Katlyn along with Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She fought Ariane Lipski, but beat Ariane. In the past, Antonina lost to Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos against. Walker via second-round TKO.
