Cooper graduated with an education in TV and film in the field of film and television from Boston University. Cooper's talent was discovered by Dirty Water Media soon after her graduation. Cooper began a comedy podcast named Call Her Daddy, two years after she graduated. The podcast discussed New York City, sex and sexual relations. In the space of a year, tens of thousands of people became fans. Cooper signed a deal worth $60 million exclusive contract with Spotify in 2021. This deal stipulated that podcasts would only be available via streaming devices.
